Apologies if there is already a board about this. I couldn't find one.
Just wondering if anyone out there is cosplaying from the Layton series. I might find a hat quick enough to go with my Layton coat if I can't put together another costume (although the Professor would be ashamed at my lack of enthusiasm), but I've also recently considered making myself an outfit for Flora. I also have a friend who wishes to be Luke.
I'm not certain about it, though. I just want to know if anyone out there is cosplaying from the series.
Also: I refuse to refer to Anthony as anything but Anthony. Or possibly Anontony or Antonon. Or something.
EDIT: Thought I should mention that I miiiight not be going to AStl '10. Complications with a band trip and whatnot. Band trip I'd really rather not be a part of, but I don't think I have a choice...

You've reignited my drive to cosplay, man.
I cosplayed a half finished Luke last year and dressed as Layton at the Ballroom dance. :3
Though I would rather cosplay Legal. . .
Um. . and hey. I've always wanted to do a Professor Layton skit. Would you be interested?

Well, um... That depends on what role I'd have to take. I'm a little shy. :c But my friend would probably be extreme excited for a skit. aha. Legal, you say?  Well, if she's Luke and I'm Flora, all we'd need is a 'fessah to go with us. |

I /might/ consider being Leyton, but it's a very weak /might/...he's one of the costumes that have been floating around in the back of my mind, although I've got about three that take priority and my hair is really more fit for Luke @-@
EDIT: However, my sister is very much more likely than me to be Leyton if you guys need one.

And you don't NEED to take a role if you're not comfy with it. :,3 Even I was shaking when I did my first skit so I can see how you would be scared. yuki: :,D Please can we haves a Professah? The Lukes and Flora would be lost without him. But yes. The main problem I had for my Legal cosplay is the HAT. Does anyone know where to get a blue hat? I've looked everywhere for a good one. |

Umm. I'm not sure about getting a Legal hat. My Luke actually asked me to make one for her, so... yeah. I'd just go with making one.
If we do a skit, what would it be about?
Well, Layton, obviously, but the plot and such.

As for the plot. . .I'm working on that. I thought that since it sounds like there will be a lot of Lukes, something involving that and time travel (like the third game).

Well it's not something you would have to play the third game to get since it's the main plot of the game but ah well. I figured it wouldn't be something flexible. :3

Ooh I see. Something along the lines of "Oh my god, Professah! It's another me! How is that possible?" "Oh, I'm sure it has a simple explanation." Cue a puzzle scene narrated by flora idk.
I'll brainstorm tomorrow too. Sleep calls.
