I don't think it's a bad idea, but if you're going to put emoticons on them it'd probably be prefered for you to draw your own designs (since it is an artist alley and not just a craft alley)
As an artist myself, I know that it would most likely be a little insulting and possibly annoying.

ohlol; I sound kinda mean, but that's the honest truth. Artists can get pretty offended when people use images that aren't theirs for profit, even if the artist didn't make it neither. Just a word of advice
