So my college got a hypnotist to perform tonight, and as I was walking I thought "that would be cool for a con!"
Think about it:
You're favorite characters(people in cosplay) really being hypnotized and doing crazy stuff!
It's hilarious with normal people. Imagine with cosplayers!!!
BTW, the hypnotist was Tom DeLuca.

I don't know if this is a good idea, I seen this go wrong before. We did this in a science class, When he put this girl in a trance something clicked and she remembered horrible repressed memories of when she was a child, she flipped out and had a mental break down...She was forced to remember and relive traumatizing events...sure this may not happen, and it's probably not common. However if it did it could be a liability issue for the con.

I think this would be fine as long as everyone that was hypnotized signed something saying that they would be fully willing to be hypnotized and if anything were to occur wrong, the convention would not be penalized for such errors. :3 Otherwise, I think that would actually be pretty cool. ^^

This actually would be a pretty hilarious idea and I'm sure would definitely draw a crowd =]
but maybe a sign-up BEFORE the con would be a good idea just so that there's no one in the audience all I WANNA DO IT 8D!!!!! and then they sign the thing all last second without realizing what is actually about to happen to them ^^;
