St. Louis has a very special place in my heart. While we run events and work with so many conventions all over the US, St. Louis is one of the places that reminds me of the first times I went to and worked with anime conventions - in the 80's!!! Robocon, A-kon or AX in 1991. Those days it was wide eyed, bushy tailed and all about the love of this fandom. Today there are a lot of shows and conventions and easy access to this fandom. Some folks tend to forget because either they never knew or experienced our fandom back then. Some folks are unfortunately spoiled in our fandom.
St. Louis fans remind me of those days. You guys have a certain light in your eyes. I will always be thankful to experience your joys with you working with Anime St. Louis.
I hope you all had fun with us in our gaming lounge. I will work with Nick and Kat to make it even bigger next year.
I hope you also enjoyed our events and panels, from our Con Drama, to MMO's Unite, to our How to become a Pro Gamer.
