Forum rules? « Thread Started on Nov 3, 2009, 5:17am »
I just wanted to suggest perhaps setting some rules for this forum, to help both people who are new, and people who have been here for a while, and post often. Just a few suggestions:
For the Hall Cosplay sub-forum, I've noticed that a LOT of people make threads about already-existing topics. Perhaps it might be wise to ask that people search for a topic before posting? Cut down on spam and all that.
For those like me, who have slow internet or other such issues, could you possibly implement a signature image size rule? Some people have agonizingly large signatures... some take up a screen and a quarter on my TV.
Again, just suggestions. >_< I don't want to come off as passive-aggressive or like a backseat mod or anything. This has just really bugged me for a while and I'm just now getting the courage to speak up.
Tell me what this is from and I will give you cookies!

Yeah, I've made a few double threads out of laziness, I didn't look for the real thread. Yes, there are sig size rules, it's like 200 X 500 or somthing, somtimes the mods will resize your sig if it's wayyy to big.
About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was part of him — and I didn’t know how potent that part might be — that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him. - Bella Swan, Twilight

Takes up just over half of the screen. I have to zoom in a lot so I can read the text though, if I zoom out to 100%, it takes up about a third of the screen.
But I'm never zoomed out that much. Honestly though, your's doesn't bother me at all.

Signature rules are what Pixie said, and we can't really go much smaller than that due to that is the standard signature size. Sometimes some signatures are large and slip past us, just inform us.
I assumed people had enough common sense of a forum not to double make threads, and I do a sweep every few days or so to make sure there aren't any doubles, but things slip up again. Sorry to cause the inconvienence. I'll look into implementing rules.
