Seriously though, you worked so hard on your Link cosplay! I know your Link but I may not know which because I am not LoZ savvy. Please don't leave us, please! Yuki might cry if you do! I dunno, she might.

General comment incoming.
If you're going to say a cosplay sucks and leave it at that, you don't have the room to talk. That's something anyone can do, I can say it about the best cosplay in existence, it doesn't make it right. Now, if you can give me a reason why it sucks, that's a different matter entirely. The point a lot of people lose sight of, is that negative criticism is still criticism. You might not like how it's worded, in fact, you might get angry about it, but you should still pay attention. Ultimately, they're giving you advice, on their terms, and making use of it can improve you in the long run. And furthermore, it's usually these people that will give you the most honest opinion of your work, because a lot of people will overlook things in the interest of being nice.
End comment
With that out of the way, you really don't want to make Yuki cry, do you?

1.) i maybe moving (hopes by next march) 2.) <_< people did not even know what Ordon Link looks like!!!! 3.) as much as i hate to say it there is just no love for LoZ in anime anymore... ..Honestly, just because not many people recognized which version of Link you were isn't an excuse to say "This is my last con", And LoZ obviously isn't lacking of love, it's one of the most popular game series there are (although I personally am not one of those fans.) I'm not trying to start anything, but you really just sound like you're upset that you didn't get as much attention as you wanted in your cosplay...so what if Ordon Link wasn't as easily recognized by people? That just means those people didn't play that specific game, or don't know about that version. And then there are the people that just don't say anything. I don't play the games but still knew... :/

^_^ well you have a very good point and your right it bothers me to see others get picked on for no reason. Even if the cosplay is not the best no one should be that way to others i know after watching my mom help me with the Ordon Link cosplay. <_< lol its not an easy thing to do by far. lol ya not meny people play alot of LoZ, or as you said "don't pay attention", so i guess getting mad at them for that is not good. The nit pickers, "con Bullies" (bullies in general too lol) on the other hand really bug me to no end. Really its not the words they say its just the fact they tend to do it to make them selvies feel better. ^_^ awwww why be nervous? *hugs* oh? were you at the LoZ panel? I can be one of the most open people in actual fact o.o. Just first couple of times I meet people I seem to be a mute. Plus I worry about making myself look like a idiot XD the one time I half tripped on the escalator. Na I couldn't make it to the panel but I saw people threw out the convention center as I wondered around with my friends. Didn't say a whole lot to people because I was nervous and because I was getting dragged every which way XD. Most of the people I met were at the photoshoots I went to so that I could take pictures for my friends. Hopefully though I'll get over my nervousness eventually xP.

I'll go ahead and admit that I've lost track of the LoZ series after windwaker. Not that I wanted to it's just other things started to occupy my game time. The last LoZ game I was obsessed with was the two games that came out on the GBA, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. But I'm a huge fan of the classic gameplay of LoZ.
But I'm straying from the topic ever so slightly. The first time I saw you cosplay link was down at the AnImagination when it was down in South County and I think the last meeting you guys did before the store closed. And when I see a great cosplay, it makes my want to cosplay that character too, and there were two that day, Link and Squall. You two had those characters down very well.

So with that said how or why would he make a judgment on something he never seen. Again i agree if there was something wrong with the cosplay thats all fine and good. All i ask of people if your going to do that is know what the character is and looks like.

He has jack all to back up the claim, he's just talking out his ass. Those people really don't have any place in making criticisms.

I must admite the wolf Link cosplay was awesome ^_^!!. as i said before so much work went into it and the fact no one even cared to ask what it was from bothered me. Your last statment is the key "I don't play the games but still i knew..." it maybe from me telling but either way its not defferent from someone comeing up and asking. That matter is not the only reason i have mind you there are other things in place that may happen. as for the LoZ love sadly i have to fight just to get people to post in the LoZ forums. What has made me a happy LoZ fan is i got to see Saria cosplays, and there are two new adds that are talking in that forum now.
