They're predominantly game players but they have a strong anime community as well, just as we are predominantly anime otakus but have a strong game community. The two are inseparable, especially as some developers have started to blur the line between game and anime, which crossovers occurring on a regular basis.

i'm sorry its just if what you say is true... then why is it hard on here to keep a AWESOME!! game forum up, and the fact that this game made way for all the other games... I know there is some forums that just can't buy people to post in them... I mean come on!! ITS ZELDA!!

I think a large part of the problem is the forum that's supposed to be for anime, manga, and video games, has gradually phased out the video games portion. Maybe making a separate subforum where only those topics exist would improve the situation.

and if that's not enough, then how about from one guy who didn't do so hot at the date auction to another, I feel your pain but it's not worth dwelling over.
Seriously man, people know who Link is, and there is Zelda love, you're just not buried in it, just like I'm not buried in squall fangirls or whatever else i cosplay, it was annoying when i threw on Kiba and one guy was like 'imposter i've seen better' but there's always going to be pricks like that.
I just don't let that stuff get to me, embrace the friends you've made, don't worry about what their interests are in, and maybe expand your own interests some more as well. We all know you love the zelda series, but not all of us are as passoniate about it as you are man.
This is going to turn into rambling soon so I'll wrap up this post. If people don't get your alternate outfits or don't seem all that into zelda, don't sweat it, if nothing else you know some of us personally and if we are into the same things you are, along with all the other things we like, so just hang with us, we may not be die hard fans, but we can keep up in a conversation about the games with you.
