I'm extremely bored at the moment so I figured I'd start a YGO thread. Feel free to talk about anything related to said topic. About anything from the series, anything related to the TCG, or maybe you got some fanart you want to show off.

I'll start with the TCG:

If there are any tourneys being held that you know about lets compile a list so if anyone wants to join in on a tourney they know where to go and maybe get a group together.

I still have my deck, but I don't have anyone to duel with so I rarely get to use it. I wish I had another Magician's Valkeriya, because it would make my deck even better.

I wonder if they ever plan on showing the last season of Yu-Gi-Oh GX... or even finish season 3 for that matter... in the US version. They just kinda jumped over to 5Ds and forgot GX.

I started on the 3rd season of GX not too long ago, but I'm only 6 or 7 episodes into it.

And as for a deck, I'm normally running E-Heros, it was the only thing that kept my interest in the game a couple of years ago, and I've been building off of that deck ever since. Now it looks like this:

XD! I just have a spellcaster deck. I can't remember what's all in it, though, but I do have Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, Magician's Valkeriya (if I only had one more... XD), and that spellcaster they gave out in the Yu-Gi-Oh movie.

I want to get Tag Force 3 for the PSP, but it's not out here yet. I have the second one. Had the first, but sold it back because I liked the second one a whole lot better. XD! Jim's my favorite to tag duel with, but I'll tag duel with Daichi and Kenzan every now and then, too.

If you got a DS just wait for Wold Championship 2009 to come out. That's what I'm doing.

True, but I have a hard time with the Yu-Gi-Oh games for the DS for some reason. *shrugs*

I'm looking forward to the online games available with this version. I think the one before it did WiFi also but I didn't have a DS at the time.

Oh, and I bought 2 more Duelist Pack - Yusei today, and I swear I still have bad pulls cause the 5D's Tin and a booster pack I bought at the mills' AnImagination I got nothing more then uncommons... just like today.

And I got a question to ask the peeps on the forums. I'm thinking about getting someone to commission for my Zane Wig, but the estimated price is about $90-95 for the wig, $100-120 after shipping.

Should I just get an unstyled Wig (I was thinking from SakuraWigs) and style it myself (which the wig is about $35 for medium lenght hair, maybe $50 after shipping) or just tough it out and wait for the commissioned one?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention, I'm making a set of cards that look like they're off the show to go with my next cosplay and a little side project of mine. The picture taking up 3/4ths of the card, attribute (or spell or trap symbol) star level and Atk/Def numbers (if monster). No description of the card or what it does on the face of the card.

Comissioned wigs can get kinda expensive. I should know, seeing as my Larxene wig was roughly $90.

Ryo/Zane's hair doesn't look incredibly hard to style to style, so I myself would probably go with the unstyled and save the money.

Yeah, I've ask a few of my friends and they agree with saving money, plus that will give me a little bit more funds to fix up my coat.

True. That'd give you a little bit more to work with.

Are you gonna cosplay Hell Kaiser Ryo in the future?

Yeah, re-sewing my obelisk coat (or use it as a reference for a new one since it fits very well). And if I got the time I'll make his coat from season 2. Good thing that wig will work for both. XD

Making more templates but, YAY, my first set of card replicas for the Deck for my Zane cosplay is done.



So far, I have background templates for Fusion, Effects, Normal Monsters, Spells, and Traps. No Snychro Monsters just yet.

Got to work on Polymerization, Power Bond, Chimeratech Overdragon, and De-Fusion next.

If the places weren't in unknown locations for me I would love to play with some people. My brother made me my crystal beast deck. And it makes my happy. : D But all my other cards are in Arizona, I used to play in these kind of tournaments ever weekend at a comic store. Lots of fun!

I've only done a tournament once... and I lost every single match. ;_; I've changed my deck since then, but I only win every now and then. -.-"

My friend and I went to the one in farmington last weekend, he barely did better then I. I ran into a Gladiator Beast Deck during the tournament. That was the most annoying deck I've played ever. The match took almost an hour to play.

I also found out that the place we played at sells single cards for dirt cheap. I picked up about 30 silver named cards and 20 holofoils for around $16.

Then we went to get some food and head back to south county mall because my friend wanted to reserve the YGO:5D's game for the DS, then we found out it was out already so we both got our copies.

Overall, it was a pretty good day.

And I'm thinking of wearing my Obilesk Dorm Coat down there next saturday. XD
