The reason my posts are sporadic (or at 5-6 am) is because I work and because my brother's getting married on Saturday. It'll be my first time being a bridesmaid. So I figured, just for grins, I'd ask people's thoughts on weddings, or talk about wedding experiences or if you or someone you know is getting married soon. Or just whine about how old you feel knowing people your age are married and/or with kids (raises hand and cries).

Heh. I love weddings. XD Someday I will own my own bakery/cake decorating business and make lots of money from other peoples weddings.
But. . . aside from the money I like them for what they represent. I'm engaged and though my wedding budget will be about a mere one-hundred dollars (I don't want to spend a lot of money on athe whole thing) it will still mean a lot to my girlfriend and I. :3

Arrgh my mom is getting married soon,and I don't like it 1 bit! no sir. >.<x
Shes moving in with him and I'm gonna have to move out and get an apartment soon D=

I never really cared much for weddings. I had to be a brides maid for the last one I went to. Smashed my finger in a door that day. And since I'm not much for dancing, I didn't really want to dance afterwards either...
Although, my cousin was so weird. He played the Chicken Dance at his wedding. Too bad he missed it. He had to go to the hospital after the reception. He wasn't feeling good.

I think weddings >could< be fun... my brother was given a 3 day wedding and all that stuff a while ago... and lotsa things happened, yeah. o.o

After-parties are fun...the actual wedding? Boring....
I think its pointless, really. Spending oodles of money to legally date someone... Yeah, no. No offense to those of you who want to get married someday. I can see the plus side to it, too. I mean, every girl wants to have HER day. But me? *Shrugs* I don't plan on getting married.

I've never been in a wedding. The last wedding I went to was 5 years ago when my uncle got re married.

You guys don't like weddings?! Man, I love them! So much fun! u like the wedding or after party ? i've been to 3 weddings and 4 after parties , i like the after part the actual wedding tends to be a bore... and some are loooong for me id go with short and sweet wedding and awsome huge after party and hey if u love em so much whenever (ifever) i get married u can come >_< LOL |

Weddings are awesome. At least, the ones my friends have are awesome. I went to a wedding in Toronto where my table of all Americans decided to secede from Canada and become the sovereign nation of Tableania. We had a motto, a flag, and everything. Also, there was an open bar and you only had to be 19 to drink in Canada. Woo!

Weddings are a waste of time. Hell, marriage is a waste of time in my opinion. Because nothing lasts forever.
