For this I'm just seeing if there would be any intrest in either a Morning Musume or a Hello Project panel or meet-up. Usally at cons it's that J-rock rules the J-Music scene, but because of Morning Musume coming to the United States for Anime Expo and hello project groups being used for the Shugo Chara anime, I think they are becoming more well known.
I'm a big fan of H!P, I have been since early 2006. I seen more than 20 of the concerts DVDs. I also a good amount of H!P music from either iStore or the acctual CDs. I would love to either organize a meet-up or put on a panel but I'm just wondering if anyone is intrested.
Here is a list of H!P current artits with the names of their songs, that I think you should look up on youtube.
Morning Musume - Shouganai Yume Oibito (Which hit #1 on the oricon charts)
Berryz Koubou - Dakishimete Dakishimete (they do have a newer song but it's really not that great, also the tallest and the shortest girls form Buono! come from this group)
C-ute - BYE! BYE! BYE! (the other girl form Buono! is in this group)
Buono! - MY BOY (Current ED theme to shugo chara)
Shugo Chara Egg - Minna no Tamago (GREAT SONG!)

I'm a big fan of Morning Musume, favorite song being Renai Revolution 21, favorite sub-group being Mini Moni (even though they split up). I wouldn't mind helping out with a panel. ^ ^

RR21 is a great song! Have you ever seen the 2008 winter H!P concert version? If not, you should watch it, it's great! As for Mini Moni, I don't know if you have heard but according to Mari's and Tsuji's blogs, Tsunku has contacted both of them about re-starting Mini Moni. I don't know if it going to happen or if that's what s/Mil-age is supposed to be.
I would love help! Do you or are you good with technology? Cause if I show the PVs, I would need some help getting them together.

Never heard of either of them. How good are they? Worth youtube-ing?

No, I've never seen that version, but... OMG, seriously? Yay for another Mini Moni! I doubt Ai Kago will be in it though, after that scandal involving smoking in public. e_e; I'm relatively good with technology, but my computer is broken so I really wouldn't be able to put them together myself... But I might be able to help with it. ^ ^ And Urahara, if you like girly, pop bands than sure, look them up. Mini Moni's more for kids, though. XD;

Just how many women are in Morning Musume? It looks like enough for a cheerleading squad. Also, I'm listening to Koi no Victory from them and its a great song when you feel down.

Agreed. <3 I love that song. There are... a bunch, for sure. They're all in their teens. I'm afraid I haven't been keeping up with them lately. Search "W (Double-You)". Kago Ai and Tsuji Nozomi are my favorite graduated members. <3

I counted on wikipedia 15 people in Koi no Victory. Also, if you noticed in the soccer part of the video they were trying to stand still. It wasn't a picture. I swear I saw one of them move slightly. lol

@vu - I would suggest looking at there best work to get a good feel of what the group is. I would say you should look at: Daite! HOLD ON ME LOVE MACHINE Happy Summer Wedding Renai Revolution 21 The Peace! Souda! WE'RE ALIVE. Shabondama Go Girl! ~Koi no Victory~ Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari(a good way to get to know the members. past and present) The Manpower Sexy Boy Aruiteru Eago YES Nude Resonant Blue Shoganai Yume Oibito
Since they started in late 1997, Morning Musume has gone from 5 girls, to 16/15, to the now total of 9.
I would love to rant more about them but It seems I should go ahead and do a panel.

Souda! WE'RE ALIVE is one of my favorites. <3 I just couldn't remember it, haven't listened to them in a while. But yeah, I'd love to help if you need it. Just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I'd probably go to the panel, even though I lost interest in Morning Musume after the third generation. I'm so old school lol :-| It's like Menudo... You get too old and they kick you out of the band.

The manpower, Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari and Shabondama are a few of my favorites by Morning Musume.
Mini Moni got me into Hello! Project back in like 2001/2002.
I do like the original version of Be All Right by 11Water. <3
