My 2 cents; double dating should not be allowed. So what if two characters in a game or anime need to be together in the anime....This is not the anime. Even if they are twins, more than likely people will like one more than the other anyway, and not both equally. I'm not saying its unheard of, but I think most people do. Unless the personalities are 100% alike. If they are the same person...then whats it matter if its one or both...they're the same person. It isn't fair that people get two for one. And THAT'S what's important, that people don't feel ripped off.

My thoughts on the matter...
I was in it last year and I had A TON of fun, the mood was upbeat and generally fun. This year, the mood was drab, the bidding boring, and the participants looked miserable from the start due to the lousy beginning bids.
I don't want to play the economy card here, but I'm totally playing it. People are broke, that makes the bids less. Those who broke 100 were crazy lucky and d**n if the announcer didn't have to twist some arms to get it out of people. I'm know he was just trying to get more money for the con, but when you're stuck at 20 dollars for ten minutes, don't push it, no one wants to go up.
I vote for several rules:
1.) Five dollar bidding increments. This will make things smoother so we don't have the drag on forever by bidding one dollar more then the other person.
2.) Like last year, pictures up on the website, like GOOD pictures. High quality that's flattering to the participant. Maybe a month or two in advance.
3.) I support the pairing bid, but I think that it should be a deal where two people bid on two people. Like friends pooling money together so both can go "out" with the other pair.
I think the cat walk made a HUGE difference last year, ditto with lighting. I know that I loved the catwalk cause I could get right up to people and eye flirt for higher bids. Maybe we could do that again and have the seats up close to the stage. Just the same, you can get a laptop and hook it up to some louder speakers for music if you gotta. Or just put a mic up to it for music if you wanna go cheap.
This year, well I was super bored and I wanted to leave halfway through. I called it quits when Dante and Nero came on stage.

I think these are all valid suggestions that should definitely be taken into consideration, especially the 5 dollar min. bid increase. I also agree bidding in a group would be fair, though group bidding already goes on.

Group bidding does go on, but I just figure that both parties involved in bidding can go to dinner. There's a lot of potential to make a lot of money that way. If one person was willing to pay 50 dollars, and another was willing to pay 90, then you've already got a really good chunk of change there. :3 I like your icon by the way. >_>

I think that could work, as long as it IS a double date, then it would profit both sides. :3 But I think there should atleast be a set amount of double dates per year, becuase some couples may not sell sadly, and that would cost more money to treat all four to dinner, which would cost more than their bid. (In other words, limit amount for single and couples, so that the profit still is high.)
