I think this could be fun & intresting, but should be like LJ community garage sale Japan, and only pertain and anime/manga and things of the sort like music and fashion.

That gives me an idea. Might upset some dealers though.

I agree with Anne Rose, but I'll talk to the other staff members on what to do about your Seller's Thread request :3

I brought the "Seller's Thread" idea up at the meeting, and the staff agreed that anyone other than a legit Dealer wanting to announce or promote an item they're selling should do so in General Chat.

Thank you for looking into it. Is it going to be how I suggested and only pertain to Japanese items/Asian items?

Thank you for looking into it. Is it going to be how I suggested and only pertain to Japanese items/Asian items? I don't think we'll regulate it too much since I don't suppose too many people will make such threads. It would be best if it were related to Japan/Asia, but I don't think the staff will interfere unless we find the contents of the sale to be inappropriate for the forums or if something shady is going on. We're not responsible for the sales and such that take place away from our forums, but we would like to protect the privacy and safety of our users, so any sale offers that go up here will be subject to staff scrutiny.

Mushroom's right, there's the eBay thread. If you're really determined to advertise what you're selling, do it there.
