there was a stand that sold patches for jackets and stuff and one of the patches they solds was the umbrella logo and the umbrella secial forces logo(from resident evil)

I like stickers lol...I put them on my planner or something, the only downside is i tend to put them on things that end up getting thrown away after a year or so =( but i also like keychains and messenger bags, not so much for patches because they're a bit of work but I see people with them.

Here's an idea. I was suddenly reminded of buying a T-Shirt at Pointfest (or standing in line and being told that they were out of my size after a 30min wait)
They had a bunch of different types of T-Shirts, in different colors. Tanktops, spagehtti strap, long sleeve, V-Neck, etc. And what they did was have iron ons, and pressing machines. SO what you could do was go up, tell them what T-Shirt you wanted, and pick from a variety of iron ons.
It was actually pretty cool, and in the grand scheme of things, I'd imagine fairly inexpensive, and appealed to a wide audience, because everyone could mix and match until they found something they wanted.

What about phone charms? I like the idea of shoulder-bags and key chains X3 I think the bags should be different for each year. Collecting one from each year is something I'd do XP Also, they should come in different sizes, so they appeal to more peoples.

Maybe a hat that has kitteh ears on it with the con logo? That'd be cool! But yes, shirts ARE a must. As are keychains, maybe have a logo keychain with a specific anime char on it? If they're allowed to do that. (copyrights)
I'd also love to see some logo'd items, like the umbrella idea, posters, notebooks, hats, necklaces or even snuggly blankets!

T-shirts and long sleeved shirts would work well given the time when the con happens. Hoodies would be good to with with the con logo or mascot on the front or back and then A-STL on the hood.
With bags drawstring backpacks would work well, they're cheap to do and can last awhile.
Something my church does for vistors is giving them a plastic apple filled with candy and a pen with the church logo and information on the outside. For an anime con there could be something like that given out at regstration for apperciation.
Other ideas could be of course giving out pens, but also cups, bumber stickers, cell phone holders, wrist bands, lanyards, wallets, special books that contain pictures of cosplayers from past cons, pillows, and others.

Key chains and I liked the idea of a dvd of the cosplays but sum peeps might complain about not being in there. But yeah keychains
