That room they packed us in was like...the most unsafe place EVER to be in a tornado. I mean, whats gonna kill us first? The cars and the chains and equipment that can make the hell of all debris crap storm or the giant doors that could act as wind tunnels and suck us all to our death. I dunno man...XD head for the bathroom I say!

I know! The bathrooms would have been the safest, though I can't see how they would have stuffed us all in there :/

XD I'm terrified of really intense storms, though I've lived here since I was five, so I was very panicked, and these stupid kids next to us were like, "OMG A TORNADO WE'RE GONNA DIE LOLOLOLOL"

Yeah. I know that if I hadn't been with my friends, I would have been terrified. I've had friends die in a tornado before, so they really do scare me. But having my friends there and being surrounded by people really helped.

I ain't gonna lie man: That scared the livin' hell outta me, seriously. I think that's the very first time in my life I felt true fear. Anyway, yeah, that room, unless somehow was build to withstand strong storms and winds wasn't safe.

Yeeeeah. I was shaking and kind of tearing up a little. >_< I absolutely hate bad storms, and that tornado touched down a little too close for my comfort. I'm used to touchdowns being like, 50 miles away.

Yeah. It is a little freaky all the time. I am actually a bit more terrified of them when I'm at college though cause my dorm doesn't have a basement and we have to go to the second floor And,in honor of this, I created this group www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/group.php?gid=105424482834762&ref=mf

grimcarebear: 1. What room were you put into? The master ballroom? The ballroom that a lot of people were loaded into was one of the most interior places in the gateway center. There were a few places that people were herded into, but the Gateway Staff likely knew the safest place to go--I mean every place in Missouri/Illinois is built to suggest a tornado! 2. I totally joined your facebook group.

I'm not saying they didn't know what they were doing. And it was in the interior. So I knew we were safe...I just felt uneasy around all the giant equipment. XD

Ah okay, gotcha. But yeah, I can understand being unsafe with all those objects around.
