Mother rear ended the car in front of us.
She was speeding up and looking down into my side of the car.
F-ing hate her.
But I'm ok.
My neck was a bit sore, but that's about it for injuries.
But now I have lost respect for her completely.
It wasn't that she glance over.
She was looking for more the 10 seconds...
WHILE SHE WAS SPEEDING UP!
This happened while we were in traffic in Atlanta, Georgia.
And she acts like she did nothing wrong.
And this is another example of the reason I am not aloud to drive.

O.O I'm glad to hear you're alright though. At least it's just a minor injury that should hopefully clear up on it's own. My dad almost rearended a car to. T.T Curse those parents of ours. Take their lisences!~~

Yeah. Glad you weren't seriously hurt. I've never been in a car accident myself, but I bet it's really scary.

Personally, I am a good driver. I go rear ended once. But I did rear end someone but I just bumped their car. My mom doesn't need another car to get in a bad accident....she can do it all by herself. Hence why I never let my Mom drive me anywhere.

My mom has a history of wrecking every car we ever own. That's why my dad won't allow her to drive his camero. Although what he says I found out to be true, when my dad wrecks a car he totals it. That's what happened to our mustang GT. Right through a big company fence... ;

That seems like it was a pretty stupid decision to make... And then act like you didn't do anything? Of course you did. Then again, I'm a very good driver and my first car was totaled in slightly over a year after I got it... Though the accident was my fault, it was entirely the fault of black ice. D: So yeah, I know the feeling. It's frustrating...

That's pretty sexist.
It's not like guys are accident free all the time. My brother for example fell asleep at the wheel and ended up in a ditch, totaled his car, and if he had gone the other way he would have ended up in the sound. (The Puget Sound, not a sound like a noise.)
I however have never gotten in an accident regardless of two close calls. Once when I took a 90 degree turn too quickly, slid across an overpass and almost slammed into the opposite concrete wall. And once again when my back passenger side tire came off in the middle of traffic down here and made m car fishtail, I managed to get it off the road with no real problem though.
All in all I think I handled the managing of the dangerous situations well.
Anyway, it really depends on the woman driver behind the wheel. Not all of them are bad drivers. Though, the ones that drive on cruise control and kick up their feet and read a book while they drive down the highway... those are just accidents waiting to happen. (yes, I really did see a woman stretched across her front seat with her back to the driver door, reading a novel, driving down the highway at 60 miles an hour.)

I'm sorry you were in the car when your mom got in an accident. And that there was an accident at all... But I'm glad you're ok! @masher: STFU. no one needs to hear bull like that. D:<

Thanks everyone for your concern, but I'm really ok! >.< That was actually the first time I've been in a car accident. And don't worry about what Masher said. I've reported him. =3

I guess I'm fortunate to have good drivers in my family, but I must say my dad has a habit of following too closely and slamming his breaks...traffic jams make me motion sick because of him....but oh well ^^.
I hope you are a better driver than your parent XD and glad to know that you're ok.

Oh...now I'm remembering a few years back. Some guy was going down the busiest street in Granite BACKWARDS. He was chasing after some girl...and he went through my grandma' car in the front. ._. If she had stopped a bit later than she did, the passenger side (which I was in) would have been hit.
