Japanese Festival -STL LaborDay-

My vote would be Saturday around 3-5pm. I can make a sign to direct those looking for some sort of spot. I would say in front of the fountain if it was any other day but that is a really populated area around the booths and for people to relax so I'm open to suggestions about a location. I'm not very good at making fliers or anything but if anyone from the A.Stl staff either has some fliers from last year and I can change the date on them or wants to make some up, I can gladly go to a printing store and print some in order to hand them out at the festival.

I don't have a location or anything yet(I don't really go to the botanical gardens often, so I can't really think of a spot of the top of my head.), but I could at least make some fliers I think. Somebody else could probably do a better job than me, but for now I'll see what I can come up with.

I got permission from the boss to use the official fliers once he finds the file. I'll probably start handing them out near the stands then move out from there. As of location I would say that at a prime time everyone should meet up at one specified area for if nothing else but to socialize we can also have a nice photo.

I'm kind of torn between wanting to do it on Saturday, the earliest day and the one where I think more people would be available(I know that normally I use Sundays for downtime, so I don't usually go out on Sundays except when there's a big event like a concert or, well, the Japanese Festival), but it's a holiday weekend, so it's pretty much a second Saturday. If we can reach some sort of consensus that would make things easier, so I guess everyone should just say when they'll be there.
I know that I will be there on Saturday and Sunday starting at 1 or 2, and I'm still not sure if I'll be there Monday.
Also, I don't know if we can actually give out fliers. I didn't think there would be a problem, but I checked the garden's etiquette guide and noticed that they're pretty hard on solicitation and don't seem to allow fliers, so we may want to check up on that . Either way, we should have some sort of meetup just so we can keep our little community connected. Who knows, maybe people will see us having fun and they'll ask questions about ASTL anyway.

Okay, well I say we just meet up on Saturday and Sunday at 3-ish and have a good time. I don't know WHERE exactly, since I don't have a mental map of the Botanical Gardens, but we definitely should have some sort of semi-official meet up.

We appreciate the idea of passing out fliers, but yes, the garden does have hard rules on soliciting, so please refrain from doing that. I recommend instead that you wear one of our badges from the past instead. It'll be a recognizable accessory, and you're not focusing on advertising as you wear it.

As for a landmark to meet up at, the bridge at the Japanese garden's easy to find.
