Fatal Frame IV~

I just stumbled upon some gameplay videos for the new Fatal Frame (Mask of the Lunar Eclipse), so I thought I'd share.

It's strange to see a Fatal Frame game based somewhere other than a 'traditional' Japanese setting. The setting happens to be an island, called 'Rougetsu Island' as a whole, but the place the videos take place in is the sanatorium on said island.

And that's it. :|
I can't wait for it to come out here. Needs me a new horror game to play.

FF3 was fun to play, but the story line was pretty sucky. I can't wait for the new one to come out either!

I actually really like the storyline, but I HATE playing with different characters, especially Kei because he's WEAKKK.

KEEEEIIIII.... He makes the minor ghosts seem like mini-bosses. Especially when one character has loads of herbal medicine & another character (LIKE KEI) barely has any.

Yeaaah. Kei can be useful if you know how to use his camera but. . .

Miku has always been my favorite girl in the series. X3 She's so cuuuute and I love the "oomph" of power her camera has. Not to mention her special abilities are fun to play with.

But yeah, I've been keeping my eye on the 4th FF game from ever since it was announced. I've been greatly anticipating it.

I'm not disappointed that the setting isn't very Japanese because I feel like what 3's stagnation was that they ran out of ideas in a sense with a Japanse household setting. The first game always freaks me out because the scares just. . .grip you and the areas are memorable.

:3 I'm really excited to see something new in the series and from what I saw so far I think I'll like it a lot.

I especially dislike Kyouka with Kei. =_= Especially since they follow you around constantly. AND THAT LITTLE DIVIDED ROOM is NOT a good hiding place! D:

I feel that it'll be more entertaining and frightening with a more familiar setting. *nodnod*
