I'm just trying to test the waters to see how the attendees might feel about an event such as this.
In many other conventions, they have these events called trade tables whether for board games, anime, trade paperbacks, or what have you. The basics of the event are simple.
1. You bring in anime you don't want anymore / want less than something you think you'll be able to get for it in trade.
2. You give it to us. We get your name and write down what you brought. (You can bring more than one item.)
3. Once we have all of the items in, we pick one name out of a hat and that person gets to pick something from the table first.
4. Whatever item that person picks is taken off the table and the previous owner of that item gets the next pick.
5. This continues on and on until all items are off the table. The owner of the last anime will get a clean crisp ten dollar bill from me.
6. During the draft, if your item is picked and you have other items in the draft that still haven't been chosen, you can choose to take one of the items out of the draft and choose another item. This will allow people to take items out if they feel they won't get their trade's worth by keeping them in.
Any comments? Suggestions? I'm incredibly flexible.

Well, it's not a donation so much as a trade. You'll definitely get something back for what you put in.

I gave Vex two of my VHS awhile back. I have, like, Bugglegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, Spirited Away, Slayers, and a couple others.
