No you can buy food from the people in the dealers room. I just won't have any ice cream. sorry about that.

No offense but if you are a paying hotel guest you are allowed to have whatever food you wish to bring in your rooms and they can't stop you. What you do with it is up to you as well. I always travel with my own food and have never once heard of a hotel not letting people have their own food in their rooms.
