Well, the lack of parking was also due to the fact there was a gun show going on, too. They took up a lot of the parking spots. Speaking of the gun show I thought it was freakin hilarious to mix Otaku's and Rednecks at the same time XD XD XD XD. I was dressed normally for the most part when one of them was talking to me in the Dickies line and in a major hick accent was like "can you believe these ANYMAY freaks?" then he asked my knowledge of guns at that moment my kids who were cosplaying and my husband walk up LOL that was funneh! I love the Embassy because of that gorgeous fountain I will definitely stay there next year if the con is there again next time rent out the big room down stairs for the dealers room *nod nod*

The only pain in the butt was the gun show taking up all the parking on Saturday and having to park on the other side of the street. I didn't have trouble driving in the snow, mostly cause I didn't stay for the Rave. I left like 5 min after Travis' 18+ panel.

Yes, the location is great, only thing that depends on whether Anime St. Louis stays there is how fast it grows.
*is waiting for the 2010 dates so he can book a hotel room*

Rednecks Vs. Otakus next time on Subculture Death Match! Who will win! We will have to blind them with our awesome Rays of magic Fire! Okay, I'm done.

Some one brought that question up at the Travis Willingham 18+ panel. Or the first one, I can't remember. Honestly most of Saturday is a non-drunk induced blurr.

It was at the 18+ panel because I was at that one and saw it. People were talking about how they were more scared of us than we were of them even though they had the guns and then Travis did an impression of one of the gun show guys hovering in a corner holding the gun. Then someone said they thought we would win and got refuted because they have real weapons. It still makes me laugh that we can honestly scare the people with the real weapons.

That does sound pretty funny. I only ran into the normal people who were afraid to get in the elevators with us. *shrugs*
But yes, I loved that place so much. Please make it a keeper. ^_^
