Hi everyone, it's your friendly neighborhood Panel Program Director, here with a few notes for all of you.
1. I'm very excited by all the discussion here, and I hope to get many more submission forms soon. We have plenty of times available, particularly on Friday and Sunday, so if you're discussing it, submit it!
2. For those of you who have submitted forms by e-mail, I should have sent an e-mail to each of you thanking you and letting you know I received your form. If you e-mailed your form to me and have not received a reply, I encourage you to resubmit your form. The worst that happens is I let you know I'd already received it. To those who submitted forms via postal service (snail mail, street mail, insert preferred term here) please give me another week or two to make sure they've arrived and I should be e-mailing you as well. Yes, again, we're taking many more submissions and will until times fill up or we're about a month away from con, so keep them coming.
3. Don't forget, if you'd like to, you can submit multiple panels for consideration. If there's a concern, such as another group already submitting the panel, I will contact you and ask if you'd consider another topic.
4. Keep panels in mind if you'd like to volunteer: some volunteers get asked to check badges and keep an eye on the panel rooms, and we take requests for what volunteer task(s) you'd prefer.
