I really love this series, and I would love to host a panel on it! However, since it isn't super-well known, I'm wondering if enough people would even show up. The manga comes out in January, so I'm thinking that will draw in more fans. I'd also like to have a co-host. OMG!!! yes i would totally come to this panel, and its so crazy cause this was an anime I've been meaning to watch for the longest time i just never got around to it (school, chores etc), until I came across your post and last night I watched the whole thing and IT WAS BEYOND AWESOME, Takashi and Hirano are my favorite (but i love Takashi more) and Saeko is a total beast.. If you're really doing this panel u can count in i'll be there sitting in the front giving u a thumbs up XD

I know I would show up to this panel. The show is entertaining. Of course, since there's only a dozen or so episodes, maybe we can also talk about other horror-themed anime titles?

Glad I've got some takers! happysephy as I was thinking of discussion topics, I was curious to hear people's opinions on HOTD in comparison to other zombie/horror titles, since I'm not quite the expert on the whole genre. It'something that I'm not opposed to touching on a bit, but I would honestly fail at leading a super in depth discussion about other titles. Although the anime is relatively short, there's also the manga which is still ongoing. I've also been thinking of some games we could play, so I'm fairly confident that I can come up with enough material to fill a panel. I don't mean to seem like I'm shooting your suggestion down, I just don't want to get myself in a situation where I would probably fail. Epicly. I'm glad to have suggestions actually, so everyone keep them coming! |

As a non-fan of the show, because I think it's blatant fanservice, I wouldn't mind sitting in to see if there's more to it than that.

The fanservice is definately something I want to discuss. I'm very curious to hear others' opinions.
Well, I have more interested than I thought I would, so I guess I'll submit a panel registration form and see what happens!

The English dub is currently running on AnimeNetwork for this series, so it may pick up in popularity more as con time closes in. I hope you do end up making this panel happen; I may be doing a HOTD cosplay!

Who do you want to cosplay? I want to cosplay Takagi or Hirano, but it's definately not going to happen this year haha. I'd love it if there were some HOTD cosplayers there <3
