Well, I've done this at Natsucon, and I'm going to do it at Kawa Kon (Sorry lol, I know about your qualms with it) and I have signed up for a slot at ASTL as well.
I want to host a panel where we watch the independent Zelda fan movie, Hero of Time. I did this at Natsucon, and despite being my first panel with a few setbacks, it was a pretty big success. I am submitting this thread under the premise that this is a comedy movie, because it's one of those so-bad-it's-good type things.
This is a movie made by BMB Finishes somewhere in Atlanta Georgia. Loosely based on Nintendo's smash hit, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it will leave anyone who's even laid eyes upon the cartridge to giggle in distress over the course of the movie, only amplified manyfold by the commentary by Hyrule.net's Sahaqiel. Comparable to the overall quality of infamous love-to-hate it classic The Room and the canon quality of Dragonball: Evolution.
I have received really good reception.
Reportedly, one of the people there laughed harder than she had in her whole life, and people were spreading its antics by word of mouth and, reportedly, it was the most fun some had at the con. It makes me feel good to hear things like this.
Problem here is my time is sort of high maintenance here. I apologize, but I am bowing my head here with my neck out; I want to make this happen.
I want to be in the masquerade/skits, date auction, and the rave is optional, but I need three hours some time on Saturday.
I'm sorry for being so selfish, but this is the kind of thing I live for, and I want to make my terms completely clear in case there has to be downsizing. I say this because Kawa Kon has placed me right when the masquerade starts and has given me only two hours, despite my continued communication with them and agreement in terms. I want to make this clear: the first time I watched this, and with only two friends, no less, it took five hours from all the laughing. At Natsucon, with a room full of people, I managed to cut off two hours and make it a solid, perfect three hours.
I will provide all the information you need about this, and I have devoted more than 48 man hours on private showings, personal subtitling, and commentating for this movie. I am also a representative moderator of Hyrule.net. I have and will give out buttons or novelty items with these terms met. So all this stuff is important to me.
augh i hope i'm not asking too much
