Okay, think about this. Speed dating. In december a show called 'geek love' premeried on TLC. It was about a speed dating panel that happens every year at the New York Comic Con everyday of the con (4 days, like 4 times a day). The person who headed the event was someone who was a super nerd (dressed as a jedi) who had found his wife at the first speed dating panel. So now he runs it to help other geeks find their true love. It seemed to kinda work. Obviously there were more guys then girls but still. He just went looking around for more girls. Personally as a girl i think i could grab a couple of my friends for it. So I was thinking about doing a speed dating panel at Astl. The only problems I ran into was that what if someone was gay wanted to try it. Along with the age thing which would be easy to deal with but i feel like a lot of minors go to astl. I know there is the date auction but the more chances at love the merrier, right? And really if you think about it, speed dating would work a lot better at a con then at a random bar. anyways, let me know what your thoughts are.

I think its a great idea. You should take it to the con board.
