Hey, I'm new to the whole Convention/Cosplay business, this year's St. Charles Con was my first one. My friend suggested that I come online here to get to know people so that I could meet them next time. So, hello there, nice to meet you. I was the guy not cosplaying in the black and blue shirt and blue jeans, often sitting around or in the merchant area.
So, I have a few questions for anyone reading this, who did you dress up as, what's your favorite anime, and do you plan on going next year as well?

I dressed up as Ciel Phatomhive Friday, Xigbar and Maya Fey on Saturday and then on Sunday Sleepy Xigbar. XD Sadly over the years my love for Anime has died down, as in I don't really find many new ones that amazing. Kuroshitsuji is quiet the amazing one though, it brought my interest back up. I read Manga mostly now and video games. Also I watch Tsubasa Chronicles now, Kadaj and I got into it too late. XD; I read mostly Wallflower, Kuroshitsuji, WISH, Xxxholic, Chorno Crusade, and Manwha's are really starting to catch my interest. I play Soul Calibur really often, Kingdom hearts, Pheonix Wright (This is MY CRACK) and pokemon, and other games too I don't pay as much mind too. (I ADORE RE, but my dad plays and I help him out). Next Year I'm cosplaying Kurogane (seriously. XD; I call myself Chibi Kurogane, cause I'm super tiny. That and I got ropped into it becuase of my immense love for him) with Kadaj as my Fai (she makes props now for me, and I do her sewing) and then Kurama and possibly Xigbar again. im really new 2 the forms...im really shy when it comes 2 stuff like this...but once u see me in person im really out goin...im a big anime fan and i love video games....and the best things 4 me is 2 go 2 cons...cons bring out the real me and i like that...thats 1 of the greatest things 4 me...im glad im on the forms and talkin 2 u guys on here and i hope i get 2 meet u guys in person someday...

Btw, you may know me by other names on other sites (probably should have had a name i kept using, but whatever). I also use TelenStar on YouTube, Asukan on Deviantart and Drahcir on Imeem.

Ah, I was in your position last year. XD I don't regret making the friends I made here. I second going to the meet ups if you can, that's what helped me branch out to people.
I dressed up as Bridget from Guilty Gear on Friday, Saturday I was Zidane.
Next year I plan to go as Taokaka from BlazBlue, Death the Kid from Soul Eater, Flapjack from the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, and one mystery costume. :3
Like Mimi I'm not much of an anime fan anymore. EVEN my love or games has kind of stagnated.
What I do love, I love dearly. I love Black Butler (manga only), Soul Eater, Kaiba, and Mai Otome.

I was Alice from Resident Evil (the first movie.) Next year I plan on having a lot of costumes XD Well...three...but still. I've met a lot of my good friends at conventions, and, like Mimi said, at the Real People's Meet-up. It's a lot of fun, so you should totally check it out! Also, I host a picnic at Creve Couer park every year. A lot of people come to that, and it's a lot of fun. I'm growing more fond of my videogames, and I still cherish a few series very much <3 |

This year I was Rinoa from FFVIII.
I know for sure I am going next year but don't have any idea yet as to who I will be.
Sadly, I feel like I have fallen out of the anime loop as well. I definitely love the stuff that came out a few years ago moreso than anything out now the only thing I've watched lately really is Skip Beat. I have quite a few favorite series but the ones I can think of off the top of my head are Rurouni Kenshin(or Samurai X love both versions), Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Wing, and Trigun but I know I am missing some.

Welcome to the ASTL boards and such~! I was one of the people at the con. xD;;; But anyway, like... my favorite anime? Umm, wow, I don't know. I know that I've been reading manga more than watching anime, though. The last series I watched was Final Fantasy Unlimited, if that helps with anything. As for con stuff, well, I plan to go to as many as possible without killing all of my money resources. xD;

YAY! Im not alone! ^.^ i wasnt anyone last year...i just wore a goth loli dress this year....that was a lot of fun...nxt year ill be Hiyori from bleach and kid Nel from bleach...idk about my 3rd cosplay...

This was my third year going and i was Cid Highwind on Friday and for Saterday and Sunday i was Grimmjow from Bleach. And after every year it seems like i end up makeing more and more friends. And at cons i dont have to be all quiet like i am most of the time, when im at con i can just have fun with out any worries...THE CON IS MY FAMILY!

I was Rin, Kakuzu, and Larxene on Friday, Rukia (work in progress) and Kakuzu on Saturday, and Larxene on Sunday.
This was my second time going to Anime STL. I went back in 2008, but I didn't cosplay then.
