Greetings!
I'm always looking for more music to add to my collection on those off chances I'm asked to DJ for the convention. I'm looking for anything that you guys consider dance worthy, be it from radio, games, anime, etc. Give me a link, a title, an artist; any kind of lead and I'll hunt down what I can for future dances. Thanks!

Hard to Believe by Vota, I tend to enjoy more of the unknown bands but these guys have a really good beat. I'm trying to find more music that would be good for this stuff at the moment so =P.

DJ Sharpnel is ok, but some of his stuff is hard to dance to since it's sped up way too much. He speeds a lot of stuff up too much to have a good dance beat, anyway. And the chipmunk voices get old after a while. His stuff would be better techno if it didn't get sped up so much that it sounded like Chipmunks singing the whole time. Of course, I think I have a good 90 % of his music somewhere around here, despite me saying that. >.> but yeah, the one you linked is actually pretty good. on the other hand, If you're looking for stuff to remix, rather than other DJ's mixes of things... I agree with Rinoa on this: Cascada is Superior. If you're looking for something for light dancing/groove, Try some Enya. (Maybe something with Enigma?) yeah, I know it's off the wall, but some of the remixes I've heard using her songs is pretty phenomenal. If you do like to spin Trance mixes, then stuff like Higurashi NNKN Kai's "Naraku No Hana" Trance mix is pretty unbeatable. But then, I dig stuff with pretty clear vocals despite heavy processing and heavy beats, with stuff at a decent enough tempo that you can really get to groove, but not wear yourself out in 5 seconds flat. Remixes of anime songs that usually get used in DWI/DDR usually work well for that, but you probably already know that. All I can think of for remixing without looking at my playlist is stuff like.. Funker Vogt, Lords of Acid, Susumu Hirosawa, Ayumi Hamasaki, Bambee, Blumchen, Aqua, E-Rotic, etc. Pretty standard stuff, but all made of God and Win.

Oh, another thing I thought would be perfect for this. www.pandora.com/It's a music Genome project. Basically, you sign up and feed it a music group you like, and it will create an internet radio station for you and each song played will relate somehow to the last one. I think it's done partly by genetic algorithms. But song relations are pretty good. Sometimes you can stay on one type of music, circulating within a few different bands, but sometimes I've found myself listening to techno or metal, and a half hour later, I'm listening to easy-listening, because each song was close to the last, but they just got lighter and lighter with each song. It's really good for finding new music groups. The only thing is that the music database doesn't have much international stuff, or really rare stuff. But it's certainly worth signing up for. There's no catch that I've found at all, and I've been using Pandora for a while. I don't know if it'll help here, but hopefully it would.
