People scream, religions being turned up on their heads. If we ever meet up with them; then there will be a war between Humans and the Aliens. Either we start it, because we are such peaceful creatures(that was sarcasm), or they start it. Eitherway, I predict a war.

Honestly, Scientists (relatively) have no idea how to explain how we jumped from inanimate matter to reprodicing organisms. From what we can tell we totally beat some kind of freak odds to be breathing here today. Even if the conditions are right, I don't think it's likely there will be extraterrestial life there.

@ Miyazaki Nodoka: Well, we as a species are a very violent thing. Hell, has any People ever gone exploring that DIDN'T involve killing the indeginous people? Everyone's done it. The Japanese did it to the Ainu, Whites did it with everyone else that we came across. Native Americans did it with the Mammoths.
@ Sakura Haruno: True we could be just a freak happening. But if you think about it; the Galaxy is a d**n big place for us to be the only Sapient life.

If we could learn to adapt with the aliens, if some are found, then would wouldn't start a war.

Yea, I'm looking forward to a Mass Effect kind of future. But even they fought the first alien civilization Humans came across. Granted, the Turians fired the first shot but still. But if you are going for a Star Trek kind of future, where we didn't fight the first aliens we met. Well the humans in that just came off the 3rd World War.
Besides, its my believe that the Aliens are watching us, studying us. And they wont make contact until we aren't such a d*ckish species. They'll probably wait till we stop fighting over dead dino juice and killing everything else that gets in our way.

Sadly thats true. Maybe we'll get a Star Trek kind of First Contact. Or we'll have to go out there.

It's like that one commercial. When the robots take pictures of Mars, all they see is . . . well, nothing but rocks. Well, an alien is holding up pictures to fool the robot xD;.
