...what I don't like about this, is, like, half my teachers have told me I have it. I refuse to believe them until I get a high fever.
..but if I do get a high fever, I dun wanna dieeee. ;x;

Haha! I love how people overreact to this. xDDD
I would not worry about it too much. Honestly, I do not think it spread that fast and there are not that many cases of it. Plus, it is worse for those who are like little and have poor immune systems, such as babies.

Not intending to sound like a cynic or whatever the term is, but Its better to get this thing now while is small and weak. Once it mutates into a more human killing virus, those who havent gotten it yet are screwed. And with any disease, there are always casualities. Its a sad fact of life, no reason to get too worked up with it. Better to let the disease run its corse and then those with immunities will pass the anti-bodies on to the rest of the world.

The last time the swine flu was around only 24 people died.
1 from the Swine Flu and 23 from the shot.
But I've canceled my plans to go to A-Kon because of it.
They've closed all school sports in Texas and are thinking of closing the boarder.
And the masks they were wearing when you watch the news wont help.
The virus is smaller then the pores on the mask.
But if you have it you should wear it to keep from spreading it.
Eh. =/

Yesterday my school called everyone's houses and left messages for parents telling them to remind their children to wash their hands to prevent catching swine flu. xD
I find it kind of ridiculous that a high school needs to tell parents such a thing...either way I wash my hands all the time.

Its funny people are talking about closing the Mexican-US boarder. 1)That doesn't really stop anyone.
2. The first case of Swine Flu in this country was from a bunch of Catholic School Kids when they got back from Spring Break in Cancune. So you might as well close all the airports.

Panic sells folks. Textbook example right here. It's a mutated form of Influenza-A, the same thing that goes through the United States every year. And all evidence right now points to it being a rather weak mutation. Take all the normal precautions and you'll be as protected as you would be from the normal flu.
And for those of you that might be freaking out from it being declared a pandemic. Pandemic status has nothing to due with the severity of the illness. It has everything to do with the geographic distribution. A disease that is considered a pandemic is simply one that has been readily spread in multiple countries.

Honestly, I believe as of now they are taking this a bit out of hand. About 36,000 people die a year from the regular flu and not nearly that many have died or as far as I have heard are expected to die from this. People haven't gotten freaked out over the number of regular flu deaths so I agree with the panic sells thing becasue that is mostly what this is, if people get the vaccine if they have or wash their hands more often if they are afraid of getting it then I doubt it is going to get out of control.

Q. What is swine flu?
A. Swine flu is a highly contagious acute respiratory disease normally found in pigs. It spreads through tiny particles in the air or by direct contact. According to WHO it tends to infect large numbers of a given pig population, killing between 1 and 4 percent of those affected. Not every animal infected displays symptoms.
Only thing I can say is just wash your hands more and... yeah. =/

In reference to this I heard a funny azz joke today:

Well, Obama has been in office for over 100 days. I guess Swine Flu
XD XD XD XD

On a random note: "Obama" means little beach in Japanese. Lawl.
As for the whole Swine Flu ordeal: I'm not worried about it at all; I think the media is making it seem like "oh noes, Armageddon D:" again, and etc. I'll do what I normally do against the flu; wash my hands and all of the basic necessities of hygiene. If I get infected, I get infected. Simple enough.
