HELP!!!

i just read this on bulnapedia
it is becoming physically impossible to play gen. two pokemon games these days because the internal battery that controls the saving of the game is being run down faster than expected because of the games real-time clok feature, which is constantly running
this explains some things, i can't get my gold to save properly
i better go beat silver fast before it dies on me
they should have made it so you can recharge the batterie while your playing
ps. looking for wii friends
if anyone has a wii, please send me your registration code, i have SSBB and will be getting MP3 corruption, DBZ3,and Animal Crossing

Well with the Gold and Silver remakes I dont think it matters that the earlier versions are dying. I dont even think it is possible to recharge those games anyway.

there's a (extremely risky) way to replace the battery i may never get the new one's, i'm saving up for a DSi this summer, but i'm not sure if my dad will let me buy it, he's already opposed to me having a gameboy at all (my gameboy color, which i finally got, that my neighbor just happened to have in her basement and gave to me after SIX MONTHS of negotiating prices (in the meantime she upgraded to a DS) and we settled on me baby-sitting her lizard for six days for it)
