i think i'll bring my strobe light just to put in my room so we can have a private rave or if someone wants to let us use your room friday night so that we can have a rave both nights

lets try and find some great songs for the rave in '10
i want to try to make a playlist and see if we cant get some if not all the song played at the rave next year
so i will start a new thread containing a list of 1 to whatever number and i want to fill it with good rave music

I think what makes a good rave is awesome music and energy from the crowd. YES, THAT IS WHAT A RAVE IS ALL ABOUT. hit the nail on the head there  Strobe lights are kind of a staple in raves. If you ever see a rave you see three things: Strobe lights. Pacifiers. Glow sticks/necklaces. i completely disagree. as an attendee of many, many raves, i would say that there are 3 staples: turntables, badass music, and good vibes. the other stuff is just awesome and for show. strobe lights, not so much...more so lasers and LEDs. glow sticks of course. i've been to plenty of badass small raves with no/little lights though. be kinda cool and freaky if they had the lights sych up with the beat of the music. The lights would pulse and change and stuff. Would be cool to see that DONE lights would do, we didn't have any in 09'. yeah i was pretty disappointed at that too. but this year THERE WILL BE BADASS LIGHTING....let me elaborate.....  THIS YEAR AT ANIME STL, i am getting us....: 4 LED full color changing cans that go with the music.... 2 lasers that go with the music.... 2 scanners that go with the music...! i also bring a lot of glowsticks to my parties usually as favors to everyone. this is going to be a SWEET party. |
