The Point use to play techno on Saturday nights and I remember playing FFVIII (I didn't get the game till 01) and I always would hear Sandstorm at the start of the show. Never knew the name of it. Its a great song.

I'd suggest most of the stuff by Cascada (for example Bad Boy www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RAF0ZLRWHo ) I have two of her cds and they are pretty great even though without finding the more techno versions of the songs that may be a bit slow.
