This may not be anything special, but I was happy enough about it.
I stopped by Vic Mignogna's (who plays Edward Elric, Brolly, and sings the One Piece male openings) website, and I noticed his email address on it. I thought it might be worth a shot to send him an email, and this is what I said:
Hello Vic, my name's John and I'm from Missouri.
With your recent work in One Piece, I've been able to appreciate you more as a voice actor. Most voice actors can only act, but you can sing and act, and I'm very impressed by that. I decided to check out your website, and I seen a Corinthians note on the bottom. I was happy enough to see that, but then on top of it I seen that you had your own recordings of worship music. Despite the fact I'm only a senior in high school, I intend on going to college and becoming a Pastor afterward. It makes me happy to see there are people in the world who, even though they may be famous, are so close with the Lord. You truly are a man worthy of being looked up too.
I guess I don't really have any questions, other than I am curious if you will release a CD with your anime songs (Brothers, We Are, A to Z, etc). You were amazing as Edward Elric, and you're great in singing the One Piece songs. I'd love to here you play some One Piece characters in the future (look into playing a character named Brook).
Thank you for listening through my silly fan-mail. I hope it was more enjoyable than your average fangirl letter.
Hope to hear back from you,
-John
This was his response:
hi John,
Thanks for your email. I'm so glad you are enjoying my work, and even happier to meet a fellow believer! It's awesome that you are planning to be a pastor. I wish you all of God's blessing in that!
Thanks for your kind words about my music too. I appreciate your stopping by my website. As for a CD with the anime songs on it, they are licensed songs and I dont have permission to record and sell them. If I could, I would!
Thanks again.... God bless you, John!
