.___.' so guise. This has been tossed around a few conventions and has yielded many tears and tons of laughing. Usually on Friday night to get the later events warmed up (usually getting the improv-ers prepped for who's line is it anime--about a 30 minute block) people have been doing this thing called: "Your Favorite Anime Sucks" As the titles says, people are picked from the crowd to say their anime, favorite or hated. And the improv-ers on stage proceed to rage, destroy plots, and shatter dreams in a matter of seconds. To me, this was amusing. Even if they liked the show, no good words were said. It was overall, nice to see everything on the same level--in the trash can This obviously seems like an 18+ kind of thing easily just because it's so easy to slip up and curse like a sailor about some anime and make crude remarks *INUYASHA*. But I really hope it can be an all ages thing. I mean, there are already threads about anime comedians. I just think maybe this would be the best way to utilize them all at once. Sometimes people on stage feed off another's rage towards a show and it just spins into some epic win. If there was some way to organize this chaos--you guys game to watch your fav/hated animes get torn a new one in hilarious ways? Or do you guys think too many people would take it seriously and rage quit from the convention forever. Thoughts?

Well, as a member of my college's improv group' I'll be more than willing to help with some of the skits. I even know a few games for improv.

I think actually trying to make it funny by keeping it clean (or at least PG-13 rated) instead of taking the cheap way out for laughts (such as cussing, sexual jokes, bashing, etc) would be a great path for the improv. I seriously honest to go, if I do make it to the con, I really want to do tihs.
I'm gonna contact the improv person I used to work with at my school and try to find out what games we play and I rely the info to you guys.

If it can some how bee kept clean I think it could bring a bigger audience. Keeping it clean would mean people could be more witty and use their minds more than trash talking or using worn out jokes--but some worn out jokes come with the territory don't get me wrong :DDDD I'm not sure if this idea will float this year--yes even if you're on staff you aren't guaranteed panel/event space if it's not a good idea. But I'm going to beg and plead, kick and scream XD I love events with audience participation >:3

HAHA! that'd be epic. I'm a HUGE Sonic the Hedgehog fan, but maily of the comics. I know the television series has gone to the dogs...
I think hearing anyone roast it would be worthwhile

I think this would be a super-fun idea, I love improv games! =D And I like the idea about keeping it mostly clean. You can get a lot of better jokes from it if you restrict the rules a little. XD

This sounds like an excellent idea. Frankly, if you can't verbally demolish something without cursing, it just means you don't have a large enough vocabulary or quick enough wit. Would love to see some of my faves torn apart - lord knows I tear them up enough myself.
