Hey, im gonna be cosplaying deidara in '09, and ive found all the costume stuff online..... so im set there. but there is the problem of the hair. my hair is long for a guy, but not long enough to that i can make the full ponytail in the back. can someone help me? if there is a good deidara wig out there id like to see it... also, i noticed deidara has the fishnet shirt underneath, but would i need that? im planning to have the robe buttoned up all the way...

I know a lot of people go to this place for wigs. They got a pretty good rariety, and different colors, too. www.amphigory.com/wigs.htmlAs for the fishnet top, I think I've seen some Deidara cosplayers go without it, but it would make the cosplay better if you had it. In the end, I guess it's kinda up to you.

I agree with Dosu. Another place you could look for a wig is cosworx.com/. For that outrageous ponytail, I would use some fomies or form board to keep it in that... odd shape and glue some base hair around it and some more on top.

If you don't want to wear a full wig, you can always get extensions or one of those clip on ponytails. You shouldn't need the shirt in that case then ^^ Unless you want to be absolutely accurate.

I tried to get extensions for my Reno ponytail, and the glue in ones are expensive if you get it done by a professional. The cheap clip in extensions you can buy at Sally's and similar places should work really well in a ponytail though. I just bought a wig from Amphigory and it turned out pretty good. (I LOVE Deidara. I'm going to glomp you if I see you at ASTL '09 XD)

I've known cosplayers that have grown their hair out and cosplayed as Dei.
