^_^ its ok look under "panels" then look for "con vergin" at lest keep an eye on that topic, sadly no times have been set or i have not been informed A.T.M lol. We will cover what we call "con dos and don'ts".

wow that makes me remember my first conventionXD also ANIME STL. XD ut anyways like someone else said earlier.

*You should always carry an id with you if you have one.
*Dont go home or to a hotel room with any strangers.
*Know where emergency exits are
*Recognize staff members in case an emergency or you need help for anything

~also make sure you have plenty of money on you
~that your room is reserved before hand
~that you have all the nessicary things such as highgenical supplies.
~You know what is yours and what isn't
~that you have everythign when you leave
~you have some way to contact your group at all times, cause I doubt anyone goes to these conventions alone.
~ And make sure that you don't lost anythign on your being. i did last year and it was a good chunk of money to so be very carefulw ith your stuff.

OH! about money it would be best to only carry a few dollors on you and keep the rest in your room or car. ^_^ this will insure that if your wallet is lost that all your money is not.

As everyone else has said, EAT and SLEEP and SHOWER!!!!! XD
I've never had these problems because I've never stayed at a hotel near the con before, so I would at least eat breakfast and grab a friend to get some food at a nearby resturant even if we weren't terribly hungry for dinner. We usually end up skipping lunch due to the excitement going on everywhere and the fact that we don't notice how quickly time passes. I can't go a day without sleeping, so I don't even think about not sleeping XD. Of course, that's just me.

When I was a convention newb, we didn't have a "con virgin" panel like we do now, but I imagine that it would be a great help and make parents feel better about letting their kids wander around with all these strange people xD
I've never personally ran into a creeper, but there will always be one, so be careful
But despite that..
be social! take pictures! be in pictures! glomp! all that fun stuff xD go to panels, events like the masquerade, photoshoots, random meme-inspired happenings!
There's so much going on everywhere xD Just have fun!
