Yea, that's a good idea.
Have it in a HUGE room, so it's easy to get through and separete em. hey that's a lot more organized!

Vendors sell many different types of things =/ It wouldn't be fair to ask them to have tables all over the place, especially with as crowded as the D.R. gets. Each seller will need as much help as they can get.

Not this particular one, no. It's just no practical, ya know? And a lot of the times a vendor doesn't sell enough of one thing to take just that one type of thing and sell it. Most of the time food items are just an add on. Something to see as you're getting ready to check out. Vendors wouldn't make enough money if they had to sell only one type of thing.
Like with the maid cafe: We sold a variety b/c it was more practical. We'd make more money off of a variety than off of, oh say, just pocky.

Well, my logic is to have the dealers a bit seperate from the ones selling just food and the ones selling just items. Usually they sell both which confuses the heck out of me.

The only thing that really gets me is how cramped they all are, but that varies depending on the size of the room. (I've yet to see a dealer just selling food.)

Well, there are people that just want to buy items and people that just wanna buy food. Like someone wants to buy a box of Pocky but gets stuck in a mass of people buying items.

Well, if there actually were vendors that just sold food items, it would be practical to have them grouped together. I do agree with that. Problem is, in small conventions, that doesn't happen too often. So people who just want pocky, for instance, really have no choice. Goes back to what I said the first time.
