Sailor Moon Photoshoot

How many Sailor Moon fans do we have out there? Lots I hope! Because I want to put together a Sailor Moon photoshoot this summer!~ ^.^

No set time or date, looking for interest at the moment. The photoshoot WILL take place at Forest Park.

To make things easy on you these are the costumes I'm planning.


For cost of materials I will make said costume for anyone who is interested in participating. I have excelent resources for wigs, and I've become quite used to making these fuku on a budget in a short amount of time. (It takes me a soild day of sewing to make one fuku.)

Obviously, if you'd like me to make your costume we'll have to meet before hand to shop for materials and get fitted.

If everyone in the group is interested, we can wear the costumes at NatsuCon in July.

Shout here if you're interested, let me know which character you're claiming and weather or not you'd like me to make your costume. I'd say, at MAX (wig combined) a regular senshi costume will be $100. Moon and Chibi Moon will be a little bit more expensive, running around $150 maybe more depending on how much we put into accessories.

I know it seams like a lot of money, but they're pretty complex costumes, lots of little pieces. But the $100-$150 is wig, costume, gloves, accessories and shoes combined! I'm a bargin shopper!~~~~




As a side note, I already own a Super Chibi Moon, Venus, Mars & Saturn costume. I'd be willing to fit it to whoever wants them. I can't give them away for free and you'd have to pay for your wig (I don't own them) but they'd be cheap! I'll make you a deal.

The Chibi Moon costume is the only one that's been worn.

Awwww Luna~~~ How fun! If you're a fan of Sailor Moon you're more then welcome to join me. I'm pretty sure my BFF is going to rewear Mercury. It'll be fun to have a group, and I'm offering my fuku making skillz.

Aw, this looks so fuunnn.... <3 I haven't really watched Sailor Moon since I was little, but the show is so amazing. I've always wanted to do a Sailor Moon cosplay, I love their outfits. XDD

If I COULD do something with you guys, I'd love to do Chibi Moon, since I'm, hehe, too short for most other characters. XDDD But I dunno if I will have the money to do such a thing or not... Plus living out here in IL would probably make things inconvenient. XD Well, I /would/ like to, I just don't know if I can, yet. XPPP

Maybe. ^^ It's not that good though, rather boring. Maybe if I redo it.

Awww, I adore Chibi Moon!~ I've done her manga super costume before! Luckily, I've found a Chibi Moon wig online for only $50 (before shipping.) That's pretty dang good considering the work that goes into a wig like that. Really, with any of the Sailor Moon costumes that's going to be your biggest expense. I myself own enough cotten/spandex to make 4-5 bodices.

Actually, to be quite honest, if you purchased the wig I'd see what I could do about taking my costume in to fit you. There are a couple things that need to be fixed, like the bows and it needs new accessories. But, it's been sitting in my closet since 2006, not being worn.
