I'm not good at making costumes, so I have to repost this. also, due to time constraints, you have to be from the St. Louis area Obviously, I'll pay you I want to go as Tobe from " Tobe's Vertical Adventure"(an Xbox Live Indie Game, go buy an Xbox 360) and here is a reference (he's the one on the left, obviously) (yes, there are yellow stripes on the sides of his pants) EDIT: also I need a brown wig Edit 2: also if someone went as Nana, that would be good

Those are great places to shop for wigs -- decent prices and nice quality. You need to watch with the really cheap ones on Amphigory as the quality isn't as good - but most of them are quite nice.
If I weren't swamped with other costumes at the moment, I'd make an offer on the costume, however, I have virtually no free time right now.
The costume looks fairly simple, though - basic patterns could pull that together. Sewing isn't as difficult as people make it out to be, really. Definitely something convenient to learn~

I wasn't either - but I got a machine, sat down with the manual and - with some help from Google searches - taught myself how to sew and make costumes~!
It's really not difficult if you're motivated to learn~ And if you plan to cosplay frequently, it's definitely a skill you'll want to acquire, especially since a lot of cosplayers are caught up in making their own costumes and props.
Another perk to making your own costumes is that it's a lot cheaper than buying them from a pre-made site - and if you make them, you can be sure they're accurate. I've seen some laughable costumes sell for outrageous prices.
You should give it a try -- it's never too late to learn.
Good luck~

I really don't want to learn to sew, I'm scared I might hurt myself.
That's why I made this thread.
Now who will make it for me?

I'm bumping this topic even though I'm double posting in my own topic to say that I really want to cosplay and I still suck and if anyone does respond to this topic, I will still pay you (it's like a commission)
