Well, I'm pretty much that one person that hate ssome things other people, and myself, do.
Like when people type the living hell out of their keyboards [Mom >___>]
Anybody else share this trait?

I like to troll the Haruhi Suzumiya fanbase on a Zelda fansite depsite my love for the series but they know I like that anime so it ain't as effective. I like to diss Megadeth and Metallica but I love both bands.

For whatever reason, I end up hating all things popular (even if I loved it before finding out it was so vastly popular). But, I've always had a disdain for "being like everyone else." It's almost as if I'm offended that I'm wearing, watching, reading, etc something every body else is. I'm not as bad as I once was, but there were times back in high school that I wouldn't wear my Chucks because it seemed everyone was.
I'm not sure if that's what you mean, but I still love the things I "hate." It just takes me until they start to die out of the limelight that I will CLAIM to liking them, again.

Not to pick on tusedayDrama or anything but hating something that's popular is kinda like some Hipster bullcrap. Popularity =/= bad. Just sayin'.

lol well i agree with snow on this one, if people are going to say " i hate all that is popular." then you may not want to cosplay as characters from popular amine/mangas/games. I for one would like to see a wider rang of cosplays here in Missouri.

Well, I shouldn't have used "all things." It's mere habit. I need to reduce my use of "hate," "die," and "kill" when I mean them for trivial things such as "that really irritates me," and "is really hurting me (as in a headache is killing me)."
I modified this for one reason. It was my pathetic attempt to deny what I already figured was truth. I was, at first, offended because I knew that I was supposed to be so. Yeah, I am a hipster by the "Usually in their college years to late 20s, very fashion conscious and trendy" definition. I'm too easily distracted and procrastinate too much to do even that right, of course. But, I've always followed trends since I was a kid (then was aghast when "realizing" I was: aka, when "they" started to rip on the trend). I'm easily influenced by those closest to me (ergo why my favorite color was blue, just like my mother's, until a few years ago).
I am still a hypocrit, though, because that seems to go hand-in-hand with hipster. You either love/hate something you hate/love because "they" tell you to. ((my desperate attempt to keep on topic XD ))

Missourians ad unneccesary prepositions in the end of their sentences I like a lot of popular things, to be exact, but popular varies among whether it is highly recognized, or taken for granted. Like jeans and food. Can't go without either.

for me ^_^ when i enjoy something like "LoZ", "Kenshin", "Chip'n'Dale rescue rangers". I tend to stay with what i enjoy regardless of its popularity/unpopularity. That is not to say i do not like new things, its just in my mind there is not replaceing them.
