Hello everyone :3 my name is Aura, and I'm the future founder of Suika Con!
alright, so here's the purpose of this thread xD basically over the past few years we've realized that conventions really seem to only happen in the St. Louis area. not that there's anything wrong with this, but it's very inconvenient for some people. I know a lot of Kansas City people only get to go to one con per year because of distance issues. We wanted to create a con that meets in the middle in..Columbia!
Columbia is basically in the dead center between St. Louis and Kansas City. This way, we'd be able to get groups from all over MO because we're more of a halfway point for most =] Suika Con (meaning Watermelon Con) is a future convention idea that we wanted to start up in the summer. Naka Con occurs in Spring so we figured it'd be nice for the KC folks to have a closer summer convention..not that NatsuCon isn't AMAZING. We're just trying to make things more convenient =]

I will be running around as Yuki Nagato hoping to survey you!
We will be surverying a few con goers on their wants and needs of a con! We will be asking about popular con activites and their score of a 1-5, 5 being the best.
Since this would be our first year coming in 2011, we're most likely going to be a smaller convention and want to budget accordingly so we're just trying to figure out what we MUST have there to please you guys!
