I'm planning on crossplaying (as the ever-so-amazing Black Star) and so, I need to get rid of those awful things known as boobs.
I tried binding once, but I think I did it wrong, and it ended up being extremely painful. (though also really effective)
I've got some ACE bandage, and I've looked on the internet about tips and such, but people are very vague. What I read a lot is "its safe if you do it right" but no one really elaborates what "right" is.
Do you start from the top? The bottom? Push them up? Down? Any way to make it easier when doing it alone?
I know that one of those vests is the best way to go, but since I'm unable to get a job (like, literally, it wouldn't be legal) I really can't give up the money for that.
I suppose its relevant to say I'm a c-cup, and I'd (obviously) like as little boob as possible, even though his shirt is kinda baggy.

well, I can't really say anything about ACE since I've never used it, but I' ve heard many places that it's not really safe (or comfortable). I am going to recommend a compression top, those seem to be much better all around for binding because that's what they're made for. I know you said you can't get a job, so maybe you could ask your parents for extra chores? Or even ask for one as a holiday present? XP But if you insist on using ACE I would suggest checking out the crossplay thread on cosplay.com

I've tried ACE before. Didn't work so well for me. It stretched out and I lost the clips throughout the day.
I layer sports bras. They compress normally even when you get one that's listed as the right size. I tend to get one 2 inches smaller then normal and one 4 inches smaller then normal. You put the larger one on first to start, and then the smaller one on after. It doesn't flatten completely if you have a larger chest. But the bras are fairly comfortable to wear throughout the day and it gets you much smaller then you were without them.
<3<3 Hope this helps some~

DD, Soso-kun?~ *3* When did my daughter grow up so much?~ <3 But yeah. o3o9 Compression vests, if you can afford them, are EXTREMELY good for getting rid of the twinsies~ And even though they're a bit pricey, if you take care of them, they'll last for a while. *u*
