Question one: I am trying to Pre-reg for three different persons, but one person (me) is paying for all three. Do I just send out a form for each of us paid through one paypal, using their birthdays and names and such, or is there an option to add "quantity" to my cart?
Question two: I have two replica swords (Sode no Shirayuki and Hyourinmaru from Bleach) and want to know the rules about carrying those, if it is allowed at all? I've been to Rennfaire where no metal weapons are allowed, but this is my first Con ad I want to be sure.... It's really okay if I should just leave them at home; I will not be sad. ;D

Ok the answer to your first question is what i would do is to pay for all three of you and have them give your money to you. that is the best way i would know how to do it . The second question is that all metal swords are allowed but must be zip tied secure. they will check to make sure it is secure. Wooden swords are ok just no metal sword can be shown.

Well, thank you. That answers my second question adequately.
The specifics of my first question: Yes, everyone is giving me money for this anyway. That arrangement was not the issue. The issue is on the pre-reg. form, it only has the option to pre-reg. for one person. And you must put that person's name and address and age, etc. Then go to paypal.
If I am going to be buying all three tickets, do I pre-reg. all three seperately even though they will all be paid for through my paypal? (Considering two of us would like an 18+ pass and one will not be getting one due to, well, not being 18.) OR is there a way to register all of us with one cart, so that paypal doesn't send me some kind of notice about multiple identical purchases (as they have to me before)?

Actually, metal swords and any form of sharp metal weaponry is not allowed. If you were to bring said items, I would not confiscate them. Here's the available options:
1) Secure said item to where it cannot be revealed during the show. At all. If any staffer were to see said sword out, it would have to be confiscated until the end of the weekend/end of your stay. With close to 2,000 people running around, accidents happen very easily. It's not a personal judgment on you, it's a personal judgment on the other 1,999 people that will be running around aimlessly.
2.) Only use it for photo ops and then take it back to your room/vehicle.
Zipties apply to fake weaponry such as guns and plastic/rubber swords that appear real. Metal weaponry is not allowed at 90% of the cons out there due to insurance issues. Sorry! =[

Ah, thank you for the clarification, Krazen. I would hate to have my sword confiscated. On a related note....
A friend of mine traveling with has a wooden sword that looks realistic... but it lacks a scabbard. What to do?

In regards to sending cash, you'll have to speak to Sarah (our registration chair) or Jeremy (the con chair). They will be better suited to answer those questions.
As for the wooden sword, just have one of my security staffers, or even better, myself verify that it is wooden. After verification of security, it shouldn't be an issue. If Gateway security, Gateway staff, or any ASTL staff stops to ask about it, they'll also just verify that it's wooden. While the staff regularly keeps in contact throughout the weekend, it's hard to say "the person cosplaying X character has a wooden sword" and everyone to identify, especially if it's a commonly cosplayed character.
The sad news of the metal swords aside, I am rather excited to see your Bleach cosplay. Bleach fanboy is me, you see. =]

All right, thanks... It's Zangetsu, you see, so Ichigo needs his Zangetsu, of course. I agree, I am sad that I shall not be able to bring Sode No Shirayuki, though I understand the issue. I might carry it in my hotel room for some pics, but I don't want to risk losing her at Con. I frequent RennFaires as well (if the avatar picture is any indication) so I knew I had to find out the rules for weaponry. We are going to have for our group Ichimaru Gin, Kira Izuru, Ichigo, Rukia, and Matsumoto Rangiku for our BLEACH days. (Also Hyuga Hinata, Nara Shikamaru, and Subaku no Temari from Naruto on a couple other days. We are prepared. =D ) This is our first con (except for one group member) and we CAN'T WAIT.
