Last year, for pre-registration, I believe there was a space where you wrote the name you wanted to appear on your badge. You gave your real name but could requested whatever you wanted as the name printed on the badge. So, I was wondering if that's still a possibility, again. I'd like to use my forum name, if at all possible. If it isn't, I understand (it's probably due to the many dirty or inappropriate requests received). I just wondered before I finished filling out my Pre-Registration Form if there was somewhere I wrote "tuesdaydrama" to have it printed. Thank you very much for your time!

I was wondering this as well... already did my pre-reg though. :/ I suppose I can always cut up a small sticker/label, write the forum name on it, and stick it on my badge someplace.

Hey all,
We got rid of the "badge name" entry on our forms this year to try something new. Instead, you will be able to write the name you'd like on your badge. We did this because sometimes people change their badge names after they pre-reg and there were problems with labels or typos in the past. This way, you are insured you have the name you want on your badge.
Thank you.

That sounds awesome! It also seems like it will be much easier—or perhaps, at least, simpler—for the staff and/or volunteers in charge of the badges.
Thank you much.

Dry erase markers are not suggested. Due to the potential of badge switching and whatnot. This isn't a personal judgment, this is just something I've seen happen at many other shows.
However, if you approach me (I'm really, really hard to miss. Trust me.) on Friday, and then approach me every time you change Cosplay to show me you're re-writing your badge, I won't have a problem with it.
Thanks! =]
