I myself am also rather curious about this. I have 2 Airsoft weapons (An AK-47 and a Pistol) which are part of my costume and both have Orange tips to them. I was just curious as to if I'll be able to bring them in, or if I'll have to leave them outside.

I'm actually wondering about a cane sword of mine, which obviously I know better than to unsheathe. It would just be perfect for my friend's Lucius Malfoy costume, though it does have a blade in it as opposed to a wand, and, of course, I don't want to risk getting into trouble.

I believe I saw something like that mentioned earlier, I think if it actually has a blade you have to have it Zip tied shut, at least thats what I got out of it. However I could be mistaken, I do know that they said they don't like Metal blades.

We're wondering, if we were to seal it shut with, like, black electrical tape, or a ribbon of some sort, if that would be permissible, since we are using it as a CANE and it just happens to have a rather inconvenient blade inside it that I wish I could take out by tomorrow but I'm afraid I cannot.
