I've seen these problems most often, so here's my tips for them
Chest binding
If you can't afford compression vests and layering sports bras isn't comfortable, take these steps with an ace bandage.
Make sure you get ace bandages that can completely cover your breasts like a tube top. then, get someone to fold the first inch of the bandage out, not pressing against the skin. once it's folded, find where the seam of your clothes will start and start wrapping at that point. Secure firmly, but not uncomfortably. Safety pins will work fine if you have medium sized ones. Large ones will create bumps that can be seen through shirts, an small ones will pop out and unfasten. If you're wearing a jacket, though, Large ones will do fine.
Wigs
Always do without wigs if you have the perfect hair color an length. That may seem like a given, but a lot of people ask about it. Also, get a wig cap to put under a wig. This will help keep your hair in place in case you have to adjust it later on. Try your best to keep it on a wig head or something shaped like a head. This will prevent damage. Avoid brushing it too much as well, since obviously wig hairs won't grow back.
Symbols/insignia/shapes
If you have to attach something to a piece of clothing, for instance, my America bomber jacket, try using iron on patches. You can usually peel them off quite easily and they take only minutes to put on.
Quick cosplays
There's really no such thing as a good, quick, and easy cosplay. You can really only have either good and quick, but not easy, good and easy, but not quick, or quick an easy, but not good. Try something simple. A cat or a dog, for instance. A bunny maybe. Animals are always good choices. Cardboard is a newbie's friend when money is scarce. Try going to thrift stores for clothing and shoes, Goodwill for example. Resale shops can help you with props too. Be sure to search your house for things you can use, but be sure to ask the owner if you can borrow it. If money isn't an issue, you can buy some online.
