The computer music program that synthesizes singing. Originally in Japanese, the company has now released some english ones as well. They can sing english much better then Miku, although her attempts were cute...
The characters are:
Meiko
Kaito
Hatsune Miku
Rin Kagamine
Len Kagamine
There english ones are:
Leon
Lola
Miriam
Sweet Ann
Prima
Big-Al
But for some reason they weren't released with cute mascots soo... you won't find as much cool stuff with them out there.
There is also a new (?) one coming out? Thanks to wiki, I know he's not a fan one. I can't believe there is gonna be a Gackt vocaloid though. It looks... D< I dunno if I'mma accept him in the vocaloid family. His name is Kamui Gakupo though, feel free to look him up.
Oh yeah, point. This thread is for the discussion of the music program vocaloids. =D Whether it's what you like about them, pictures, maybe a cool song by them. I dunno.
Honestly, I went into this just wanting to know what the program was, I left with an obsession. They're just interesting, it's fun to see what the fans are going to portray them like. Not to mention they have a cuteness charm, which Im a sucker for. My favs are the Kagamine twins (Len!) and then Kaito. <3
