I will have to double check the name but I recently went to the Arkansas Anime Festival. In the dealer's room they had a booth selling custom contacts for cosplays. I think the most they charge was $80 for the pair. I have no idea if they are based in Arkansas or in Missouri. Would it be a good or bad thing to have a custom contacts booth? Or would it be a liability?
I will edit this post when I find out the name and where they are located.
Edit: Name of the booth - The Contact Lens Company : cosplay contacts and other cool crazy contacts. Still Can't find a website.

I don't think it would be much of a liability with the con, more so the company. Well the thing though with buying contact lenses from companies like that is most of them come from unsafe environments, especially if they originate from China. You can get them them very cheap $5 or $6 dollars, but they let them sit out and dry. It's made a lot of people blind, ESPECIALLY with circle lenses and the like...I just think its a bad idea from personal and friend experiences to buy contacts from people other than your eye doctor, or trusted sites.

I'm not sure if you can legally buy contact lenses without providing a prescription.

The only ones legal to sell in the US is Plano, ones who have no prescription power. If you require glasses or actual prescription contacts, you can't buy legally that isn't from your eye doctor.
