it just kinda hit me in the face today about how close ASTL09 is...... and how broke I am. So I really need suggestions of ways to earn money; fast! I need about $100 to $150. Any tips are helpful!!! But please keep in mind: 1.) I need to earn the money by early-January to early-Feb so I can order my costume and have it shipped here in time 2.) I am too young to get a job (darn child labor laws)  THANX! |

My parents just told me they'll pay me to wash the baseboards in all the rooms of our house.

Hey, if you want the money bad enough you gotta do what you gotta do.
Also, child labor laws have absolutely no sway over things like yardwork in your neighborhood or dong chores for other people for a little money.
When I was a kid that's how we made all our money outside of the 20$ we got every few weeks. We would go to our neighbors houses and ask them if they needed any yard work done or anything done around the house and then they would pay us for our work. So if you live in a good neighborhood, check around with your neighbors and see if any of them need help (especially the elderly).
