There are quite a number of hotels in the area. I am working right now to get a hotel block, and hope to have that information soon. Even if you don't want ro stay at the main hotel, there are many options available. i really hope you can soon , i wanna stay at the embassy but they are pretty exspensive |

My friend and I drove up to St. Charles on Tuesday to see the hotel we're staying in and the convention center. We're staying at the Days Inn which is next to a gas station, Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, Chevy's restaurant, Applebees, and a few others. We even timed how long it takes from the hotel to the convention center. 10 seconds by car on a side road so we didn't even have to get back on to the interstate. It is also pretty inexpensive. We thought about staying at the red roof in it is cheaper than the Days Inn, but also takes about 4 minutes to get to the convention center. We want to be as close as possible without staying at the Embassy which is too expensive for us. The more money to blow in the dealer's room the better. ;D

^_^ yep i got my room i was lucky to get on for a good rate at the hotal, but its non refundable

That's good that you got your room! Passing by I think the hotel was three floors. We requested ours on the 1st floor, but no gaurantee we'll get it....
(Bad that its nonrefundable....)

I just had a chat today with one of the sales managers for the Embassy Suites, the hotel attached to the convention center. We are ironing out the details right now on the room block, and should be able to announce it officially this week. The block is NOT set up yet, so you can't start booking rooms under us yet.
I must say I am very impressed with the hotel and their rooms. It's a very nice hotel with spacious rooms for an amazing price.
