Twists on Cosplay

I wanted to do a punk version of Naruto for my cosplay, I was wondering if that would be still considered cosplay

Im sure it would be fine. A lot of characters have more than one outfit, so you could always get away with it. Well my friend did at Kawa Kon as a wedding day Misa. so i think it would still be cosplay if you can still look like Naruto.
